Code of Conduct

You, the conference attendee, are responsible for any and all damages that occur at all ECAASU venues including, but not limited, to Yale University and conference-recommended hotels. You are expected to act in a respectful and responsible manner for the entire duration of the conference.

If any conference attendee engages in physical or verbal harassment, particularly on the basis of race, gender, religion or other protected class, ECAASU reserves the right to remove them from the premises without refunding their conference fees.

If any conference attendee fails to abide by COVID mitigation protocols outlined here, ECAASU reserves the right to remove them from the premises without refunding their conference fees.

ECAASU is not responsible or liable for any loss or damage to personal property.

In accordance with state and federal law, no persons under the age of 21 are allowed to purchase or consume any alcoholic beverages. Smoking is prohibited in all enclosed public places and workplaces.

COVID-19 Policy

Face masks must be worn for the duration of all in-person workshops, networking events, social events, and ceremonies.

Masks may be removed when actively eating or drinking.

Masks will be available, but attendees are expected to bring their own.

Non-compliance will result in removal from conference events.

COVID-19 Refunds

If you test positive for COVID-19 prior to the conference, we ask that you isolate and let us know as soon as possible. If you would still like to attend the conference virtually, we will refund you the original price of your registration, and we ask that you re-register under the virtual option. If you are not interested in the virtual option, we will refund you the original price of your registration.

We strongly encourage all attendees to take a COVID-19 test and to receive the bivalent booster vaccine prior to the conference.
